RESOLUTION THAT PUBLIC ItEARTNG I5 NOT NECESSARY IN RE
STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 3 BET[~)EIN SLITTER, COUNTY LINE AND
STATE HYGIIWAY ROi1TE 21
WHEREAS, the California Highway Commission has before it for con»
sideration Che mercer of the relocation and improvement as a freecaay of a
portion of State Highoaay Route 3 between Sutter County Line and State Highway
Route 21; and
WHEREAS, .said California Highway Commission has requested tlxis Board
to advise it as to whether in its opinion a public hearing in this matter is
necessary; and .
1,7HEREAS, it is-the opinion of this Beard that a public hearing itt
this matter is not necessary inasmuch as all facts pertaining thereto were
presented at hearings heretofore held at the Gridley Memorial Ha11;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV;~D by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1, That in the opiniontvf this Board, a further public hearing in
the matteer of the relocation and improvement as a freeway of a portion of State
Hightaay Route 3 between Sutter County Line and $t~te Highway Route 21 is not.
necessary.
2, That the Clerk of this Board transmit to the California lIighway
Commission, in care of Division of Highways, 703 B Street, MarysvillE; Californi
two (2) certified copies of this Resolution,
The foregoing resolution was introduced by Supervisor Pryde
saho moved its adoption, seconded by Supervisor Giles , grid said
resolution was passed this /~/~~ day of ~, 1963, on roll call by
the fallowing vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Steinegger
