BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTEa STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AND ORDER EXCEPTING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CHICO FROM
STRUCTURAL FIRE TAX
WHEREAS, the CITY OF CHICO has petitioned the BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS+ in writing, for the exclusion of property from the
levy of taxes for structural fire protection, which said petition
is supported by a Resolution of the governing body of said city,
all in accordance with. Section 25643 of the Government Code of the
State of Ca]~ifornia;
NOw?. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS of the COUNTY OF BUTTES STATE OF CALIFORNIAN as follows
to That pursuant to the provisions of Section 25643 of the
Government Code of the State of California, all property within the
corporate limits of the City of Chico in the County of Butter
including all property which may hereafter be annexed to said
City prior to tax levy being made thereon, is hereby excluded
from a tax levy to provide funds for structural fire protection
of the areas in the County of Butte.
The foregoing Resolution was duly adopted and passed at a
regular meeting of this Board on the 21st day of May, 1963, upon
roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman 5teine;
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
