RESOLUTION NO. 53-51
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
THE COUNTY OF BUTTE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED ORDER OF FISH AND GAME
COMMISSION PURSUANT TO SECTION 455 et seq OF THE FISH AND
GAME CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS;: the Fish and Game Commission of the State of
California did on the 15th day of Mayr 1963! hold a hearing in
Orovillet Butte County, California; and
WHEREAS. the purpose of said hearing was to have public
discussion of the proposed orders for the taking of antlerless deer
within the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS at .s aid hearing there was strong opposition of the
taking of antlerless deer within Butte County; and
WHEREAS,. the members of this Board have considered this
problem and have found that antlerless deer frequent populous area
of the County of Butte; that the hunting and taking of such deer
in said areas would be detrimental to the peaces health and safety
of residents of the County of Butte; and
WF3EREASf Section 455.et seq of the Fish and Game Code of
the State of California provides for an objection to antlerless
deer huntingo
NOW; THEREFORE, be it resolved by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte as follows:
1. That this Board objects to the proposed order of the
Commission for the taking of antlerless deer within the County of
Butte during the year 19630
2. That the Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to
forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Fish and Game
Commission of the State of Californian forthwitho
