.NOTICE AND RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE COUNTY' EASEMENT AND
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING (Public Service Easements
Vacation Laws Sections 50430 et seg. of the Government Code of
the State of California.} _
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the Counisl of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte to vacate the county easement hereinafter
described, if it is determined at the hearing as hereinafter set,
that said county easement is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use pursuant to Sections 50430 through 50445 of the Govern-
ment Code of the State of California.
2. That the hearing on this Resolution to vacate county
easement shall be held on Tuesdays the 25th day of June, 1963„
at 11:00 A.Mo of said day or as soon thereafter as the business of
the Board will permits in the Supervisors' Room in the Butte Counts
Courthouses fronting on Huntoon Street, in Orovilles Californian
at which time said Board will hear evidence of any party interestec
3. That this Notice and Resolution is adopted pursuant
to motion made by this Board.
4. That copies of this Notice and Resolution shall be
posted at least fifteen (15} days prior to the date fixed for
hearings conspicuously along the line of said county easement
proposed to be vacateds and shall be posted not more than three
hundred feet apart, but at least three (3}. notices shall be posted
5o That a copy of this Notice and Resolution shall be
published in a newspaper of general circulations published in the
County of Butte, Ghico-Enterprise newspaper for
at least two successive weeks prior to the date fixed for the
hearing thereof.

6o That the County easement, the subject of this Notice
and Resolution, is situate in the County of Butte, State of
Californiat and is described as follows:
Those certain easements designated 12.00 foot public utility
easements along the back and side lines of certain lots shown on
that certain map entitleds "Park Estates Subdivision", which map
was recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butter
State of Californiat on April 201 1962, in Map Book 24 at pages 35
and 36t said easements more ~iarticularly described as follows:
Easement No. 1: That certain 12.00 foot wide public utility ease
ment running-along the Northerlyr or rear line of Lots 11, 12, 13
and 14, along the Easterly or rear line of-Lots 8t 9, lOt and 11,
and along the Som!therly or side line o~ Lot 8 all as shown on sai
Park Estates Subdivision map,
Easement No. 2: That certain 12.00 foot wide public utility ease
ment running along the rear or back line of Lots 2s 3t 4t 5s 6t an
7, and being the rear or Easterly 6_00 feet of Lots 2, 3, and 4t
and the rear or Westerly 6.00 feet of Lots 5, 6t and 7, all as
shown on said park Estates Subdivision map.
Easement No. 3: A portion of that certain 12000 foot public
utility easement running along the side liner or Southwesterly lin
of Lot 1, along the rear or Southeasterly line of Lot 1t and along
the side line or Southeasterly line of Lot 7t all as shown on said
park Estates Subdivision maps described. as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Southwesterly line of said Lot
1, distant South 39°&7° Easts 25.00 feet from the most Westerly
corner of said Lot l; thence South 39°57' Eastt 115.00 feet along
the Southwesterly line of said Lot 1 to the most Southerly corner
of said Lot=:_~.; thence North 50°30' Easts 293.00 feet along the
Southeasterly line of said Lots 1 and 7; thence at right angles,
North 39°30' West. 12.00 feet; thence South 50°30` Wests 281°00
feet, more or lesst parallel with the Southeasterly line of said
Lots 1 and 7 to a point distant 12.00 feet measured at right angle
from the Southwesterly line of said Lot 1; thence North 39°57'
Wests 103,00 feett moxe or less, parallel to and distant 12000
feet from the Southwesterly line of said Lot 1 to a point distant
North 50°03' East, 12.00 feet from-the Point of Beginnings thence
South 50°03' West, 12.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
7a That a map of the area of the proposed vacation is on
file in the office of the County Clerk of .the County of Butte and
is available for public inspectiono
The foregoing resolution was adopted and passed on the 4th
day of Junes 1963, by the voter as follows:
