BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
In the Matter of the Establishment
of a County Service Area instituted
by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California RESOLUTION
on its own initiative OF INTENTION
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2,
Chapter 2.2 of the Government Code of the State of California,
a petition requesting the institution of proceedings for the
establishment of a County Service Area was in proper form
presented to this Board vn the 18th day of June, 1963,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved:
1. That a County Service Area is proposed to be established
under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the incorporated
area of Butte County, the boundary lines of the territories
proposed for inclusion in the area are: as shown in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
2. That the name proposed for said County Service Area is
County Service Ares ~~
3. That the types of extended county services already
provided in this area are nil.
4. That the types of extended county services proposed to
be provided in this area are:
(a) The construction and improvement of necessary water
drainage facilities within the area for the flowage of
natural and drainage waters .arising within the area to an
easement and right of way for the flowage of such waters
upon, over and across the parcels of real property in
Butte;County, California, particularly described in

Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for all purposes.
(b) The construction and improvement of a water flowage
easement and right of way upon, over and across the par-
cels of real property situate in Butte County, California,
particularly described in Exhibit "B" hereof for the flowage
of natural and drainage waters arising and flowing from
the real property within the proposed boundaries of the
service area.
(c) The repair, conduct, operation and maintenance of
the drainage facilities, improvements, easement and right
of way hereinabove referred to in sub-paragraphs (a) and
(b)
5o That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied
upon all taxable property within said area.
b. That on the ?~rd day of JuIY 1963, at 11:00
o'clock A.M., a public hearing will be held on the establishment
of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 1963, by the
following vote:
Ayes Supervisors: Giles, McKillop, Pryde,
Alldredge and Chairman Steinegger

All that certain real property situate in the County of Butte, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
A portion of the southwest quarter (SW~) of Section 13, Township
23 North, Range 3 East, NIDB&M, being also a portion of that
.certain revised Recoxrl of Survey map of Fir Haven Subdivision, filed
-N(arch 12, 1962, in the Butte County Recorder's office, in map book
'27, page $, more particularly described as follows, to wit:
.Commencing at the west one-quarter corner of section 13; thence

of"section 13, a distance of 1615.82 feet to the point of begin-
