RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS
SIERRA DEL 0R0, UNIT N0. 1
RESOLVED, by the Board'of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, California, that
WHEREAS, the said Board did, on the 18thday of June ,
1863, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 63-6~ to order
the construction of grading, pavement, water distribution facil-
ities and appurtenances, and storm drainage facilities and
appurtenances in Sierra del Oro, Unit No. 1 in said County,
all as more particularly described and set forth in said Resolu-
tion of Intentions
NOW, THEREFORE, the County Clerk of said County is hereby
directed to publish once a week for two weeks, in the
a newspaper of general circu-
lation published and circulated in said County, a notice inviting
sealed proposals or bids for the construction of said improve-
ments, and referring to the plans and specifications on file in
the office of said County Clerk, the first of which publications
shall be at least ten (10) days prior to the time fixed for
opening bids.
AlI proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a certified
or cashier's check payable to the County amounting to not less
than ten per cent (10/) of the bid, or by a bond for that
amount and so payable, signed by two sureties who shall justify
before any officer compentent to adm~,nister an oath, in double
that amount and over and above all statutory exemptions, or by a
corporate surety bond to the satisfaction and approval of the
County Surveyor. Said check shall be forfeited or said bond
shall become pay~;~.e to said County in case the bidder depositing

the same does not, within twenty--five (25) days after the
first publication of notice of award, enter into a contract
with the County Surveyor of said County.
Said sealed proposals or bids shall be delivered to the
County Clerk of this County on or before 11:00 o'clock A M.
on the ~ d day of July 1963, said time being not less
than ten (10) days from the time of the first publication of
said notice. Bids will be publicly opened, examined and de-
clared on said day and hour.
