BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATR OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF ABANDONMENT OF COUNTY IiIGHWAY SUPERSEDED BY RELOCATIO,
..Streets and Hi hwa s Code Section 960.1
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described real property was acquired
for the purpose of constructing a county road in the County of
Butte, State of California; and
WHEREAS, after the construction of said county road, the here-
inafter described real property was found to be not necessary due
to the relocation of said county road; and
WHEREAS, the abandonment of the hereinafter described real
property would not cut off all access to the property of any person
which prior to such relocation, adjoined the highway;
NOWT THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of Californian as follows:
to The hereinafter described real property is hereby
summarily vacated and abandoned as a portion of a County highway
~iwhich has been superseded by relocation. Said real property is
situate in the County of Butte, State of California, more particu-
larly described as follows:
Being a portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 25, Township 22 North. Range 3 East,
M.D.B. & M., and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 25; thence along the
Westerly line of the parcel described in deed from Louise
Pexeirda to O. J. McCorkle and Cloa Ba McCorkle, dated
January 14, 1949f and recorded January 19, 1949, in Volume
493 of Official Records of said Butte County, at Page 67r
North 36°52' East, 71.72 feet to the Southerly line of
Roe Raad; thence along said Southerly Line, along the arc
of a 1030.00 foot radius curve to the left, whose tangent
at this point bears South 66°23'42" East, through a central
angle of 9°53'33", an arc distance of 177.84 feet to the
South line of said Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 25; thence along said South line, South 89°5l'
West, 211.31 feet to the point of beginning and containing
0.128 acres more or less.

2a It is the unanimous judgment of the Board that the
property does not exceed in value the sum of SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS
($75000) and that said real property may be sold by the Chairman
of this Board and the Purchasing. Agent of the County of Butte at
private sale without advertisingo The sale shall be reported and
confirmed by the Boardo
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Super visor
McKillop , who moved its adoption, seconded by
Supervisor Alldredge and saidResolution was passed
this 9th day of ~Tu1y, 19631 on roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McKillop and Chairman Steinegger
NOES: Supervisor Pryde
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
