HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-080RESOLUTION N0. 6380 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, the Chico City School District of the County of Butte, State of California, has petitioned the City of Chico to annex the land commonly known as Chapman Elementary School, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chico, by their Resolution No. 104 62-63, have approved said petition for annexation, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chico has petitioned the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, requesting such annexation, pursuant to Sections 35200 of the Government Code of the State of California; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLUTION FIXING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING FOR ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS iJNINI3ABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF CHICO BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County of Butte, State of California, that on the 6th day of August 1963, at the hour of 11 o'clock A. M., in the Supervisors Room at the Butte County Courthouse, Oroville, California, is set as the time and place where ali objections to said annexation may be heard, and that the property to be annexed is described as follows: All that certain real property situate, lying and being in the County of Butte, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the north quarter corner of Section 36, in Township 22 North, Range 1 East, M.D.B.&M.; thence southerly along the north and south centerline of said Section 36, 49.35 feet; thence east 750 feet; thence northerly and parallel to the north and south centerline of Sections 25 and 36, Township 22 N. Range 1 East, M.D. B.&M., 349.38 feet; thence North 4645'3011 West 549.63 feet; thence South 8155' West along the easterly extension of the southerly line of Cleveland Avenue as shown on that certain map entitled "Official -i~ Map of the Fetters Tract", which map was recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, on February 17, 1903 in Book of Maps 2, Page 192, 273.64 feet; thence North 45° West 41.27 feet to a point on the easterly extension of the northerly line of said Cleveland Avenue; thence South 81°55' West 50.00 feet along said extension to said north and south centerline of said Section 25; thence southerly along said centerline to the point of beginning, containing 9.77 acres, more or less. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any tax payer in the County of Butte or the City of Chico, may object to the proposed annexation by filing a written protest with the Board of Supervisors; SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors shall cause notice to be given of the time and place of hearing by publication in Chico Enterprise a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Butte, for five (5) consecutive days.
