~i~HEREAS, said Board, at said time and place, proceeded to
hear arguments both for and against the establishment of said Area;
and

were filed in accordance with Section 25210.17 of the Government
Code; and
`~7HEREAS, no oral protests were made at said hearing;
NOS, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the BOARb OF SUPERVISORS
of the COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, as follows:
1. That said Board hereby finds and determines that
proceedings herein were conducted pursuant to Section 25210.1 et seq
of the Government Code, and that publication and notices were
given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds', and determines
that the extent to which the services described in the Resolution
of Intention are extended county services;
2. That said Board hereby determines to establish said
County Service Area. ',
3. That the boundaries of said Service Area are hereby
finally determined and established as the same as'are shown on
Exhibit A, attached hereto, entitled "Description', of the Boundaries
of County Service Area ~k4-", said Exhibit is incorporated herein
by reference and made a part of this Resolution. ',
4. That the name of said Service Area so established is:
"COUNTY SERVICE AREA ~~4"
5. That the type or types of extended county service to be
provided within said area are the construction and. improvement
of water drainage facilities to facilitate the flowage of
natural and drainage water arising within the area, and the
construction and improvement of water flowage easement and right
of way over and across parcels of real property situate in Butte
County, and to repair, conduct the operation and maintenance of
drainage facilities, improvements, easement and right of way
necessary to the services to be rendered hereunder.
6. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis shall be',annually levied
upon all taxable property within said area.
7. That said County Service Area is established for all
purposes subject only to compliance with the requirements of
Chapter 8, Part 1, Division 2, Title 5 of the Government Code
and subject to the provisions of Article 2.5, Chapter 2.2,
Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the
State of California.
