COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE.OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION CONCERNING ROUTE STUDY OF NORTH-SOUTH FREEWAY
THROUGH BUTTE GOUNTY ..
WHEREAS, adequate, safe and economical highway transportation
is vital to the future development of BA:tte County;. and
WHEREAS, a north-south freeway has-been designated in the
California Freeway System; and
WHEREAS, an important factox in proper planning for Butte
County is saa.d north-south freeway, giving access to the County-and
facilitating txaffic flow through the County;
NOW, THIIiEF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State of California, that the California
Division of Highways is requested to undertake, as soon as possible, a
study of a north-south freeway in Butte County, connecting with other
sections of the designated California north-south freeway;
BE IT FiktTH>~t REuOLVED that certified copies of this reso-
lution be forwarded to the Director of the Department of Public Works
and the District Engineer, District III, Division of Highways, State of
California.
