RESOLUTION AND NOTICE DECX,~.ARING`- INTEi~TTION TO SELL
REAL PROPERTY Government Code Section 25526 et se .)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Buttes State of Californian as follows:
1. That said Board hereby declares that it intends to sell
that certain real property situate in the County of Buttef State
of California,. more particularly described as follows:
The South 61 feet of Lot Seven (7}; in Block Thirteen (13}
according to the official map of the City .(formerly
Town} of Chico, which map was filed in the office of
the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of Calif-
ornias being more particularly described as followsn
to wit:
BEGINNING at a point in the Easterly line of Wall Street
at a point which is 5 feet Southerly from the Southwest
corner of Lot 8 in Block 13; thence in an Easterly
direction parallel with the Southerly line of said
Lot 8s 132 feet to the line between Lots 2 and 7 of
said Block; thence Southerly along the line of said
Lots 2 and 7n 61 feet to the Southeasterly corner of
Lot 7; thence Westerly along the South line of said
Lot 7s 132 feet to the Easterly line of Wall Street;
and thence Northerly along the Easterly line of Wall
Streets 51 feet to the point of beginning.
Commonly known as 315 Wa11 Street, Chicos California.
2. That the terms and conditions of said sale are as
follows:
(a} That the minimum price that will be acceptable
for the said parcel of real property is $37,500.00_
(b} That the purchase of said real property is to be
paid in cashs as follows: 10/ thereof to accompany bid and
balance upon the final acceptance by the Board of Supervisors
and the delivery of the deed to said real property.
(c) That the form of conveyance shall be a Quit~Claini,
Deed.
(d}; County to furnish and pay for title insurance,
3. That Tuesday, the 10th day of Septembers 1963s at
11:00 A, M. is hereby fixed as the time at which the:Board of

Supervisors of the Gounty of Butte, at a meeting of said Board, will
receive sealed proposals to purchase said real property and will
consider said sealed proposals, and the place of said meeting will
be in the Supervisors'. Room of the Courthouses situate on Huntoon
Street, in the City of proville, County of Butter State of Califor--
nia:
4. That a 5/ commission will be paid to any licensed real
estate broker.
5. That notice of the adoption of this Resolution and the
time and place of holding the meeting to consider sealed proposals
for the purchase of said real property shall be given by posting a
copy of this resolution, signed by the Chairman of the Boards in
three (,3) public places in the County not less than fifteen (15)
days before the date of the meetings and by publishing the notice
in the County pursuant to Section 6063 of the Government Codes to
wit, once a week for three (3~: successive weekso
6. At the time and place fixed herein for the meeting to
consider sealed proposals for the purchase of said real property,
the highest qualifying bid will be accepted, unless upon a call
for oral bids such oral bids shall exceed by at least 5/ the
highest written proposalo
7. The Board of Supervisors shall consider written
proposals and oral bids separately and reserve the right to accept
or x3ect all .written proposals and/or oral bids,
8. The foregoing Resolution was duly adopted and passed at
a regular open meeting of said Board held on the 6th day of August=
1963, on roll call by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McKillop, Pryde and
NOES: None Chairman Steinegger
