RESOLUTION APPROVING PETITION FOR CONSTRUCTION
OI IMPROVEMENTS IN CO:~LEY ACRES
WHEREAS on the 13th day of August, 1963, certain owners of
lands in the County filed their petition with the Clerk of this
Board, and in their said Petition requested this Board
To do certain work and to construct certain im-
provements in accordance with the provisions of
the Improvement Act of 1911 on named streets in
designated public places and on certain public
rights-of-way in this County; and
To: assess the costs and expenses of said work and
improvements in accordance with the provisions
of said Act on a District of lands which said
owners declared would be benefited by said work
and improvements; and
To order Serial Bonds to be issued in accordance
raith the provisions of said Act, to represent any
unpaid assessments for said work and improvements
and to order said Bonds to contain said provisions
which said owners requested that said Bonds contain;
and
WHEREAS said owners declared in said Petition that they
were all the oGmers of more than 60% in area of the lands they
described in said Petition, and declared that they waived all the
provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California (the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limita-
tion and Majority Protest Act of 1931), and all investigations, pro-
ceedings and reports provided therein; and
WHEREAS this Board is of the opinion that said Petition should
be granted; and
WHEREAS the Engineer of Wo~r.has advised this Board, in writing,
that more than 60% of the owners in area of the Lands described in
said Petition have signed said Petition and waiver,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OP SUPERVISORS
IN THE COUNTY OI' BUTTE that this Board finds and determines, respecting
the Petition filed with the Glerk of this Board on the:,.l3tt3day of
August, 1963, that owners of more than b0% in area of the real praperty

provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code (the
Special Assessment, investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931) and ail investigations, proceedings and reports provided
therein.
That this Board hereby grants the name COPLEY ACRES
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT to the area described in said Petition.
That this Board hereby grants said Petition and hereby
determines to do said work and improvements under the Improvement
Act of 1911 and to assess the costs and expenses thereof on the
District of Land described in said Petition, and hereby determines
to issue Improvement Bonds under said Act to represent unpaid assess-
ments, and hereby determines that said Bonds shall contain specific
provisions as requested by said owners.
That the work referred to above is described as follows:
Improvement of full length and Extent of Fairhill
Drive, Loma Vista Drive, Endora Circle, Heather
Circle, Deerwood Drive, Hunter Drive, Melrose
Drive, vforrell Circle and Foothill Boulevard,
within the boundary of Copley Acres Subdivision,
by constructing gravel base pavements with as-
phaltic surface and roadside gutters, surface
and underground drainage racilities with necessary
appurtenances, water mains and water services and
appurtenances, fire hydrants, road excavation and
removing therefrom and disposing of all refuse and
surplus materials.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, at a regular meeting thereof, held
on the 13th day of August, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
