RESOLUTION IN RE DIVISION OF SALES TAX PROCEEDS BETWEEN THE COUNTY
4 of BUTTE AND THE CITY' OF OROVILI,E FOR THE PLAZA Sfid~PPTNG CENTER,
IN OROVILLE CALIFORNIA

6 WHEREAS, the OROVILLE PLAtiA SHOPPING CENTER is located
7 partly within the incorporated limits of the Ca.ty of Oroville
8 and partly within the unincorporated area of the County of Butte;
9 and
10 WHEREAS, there are proceeds from sales taxes which are to
11 be distributed to the County of Butte and the City of Oroville
12 which arise out of the conduct of businesses in the said Plaza
13 Shopping Center; and
14 WHEREAS, it is necessary that said City and County arrive
15 at a division of sales taxes derived from said Plaza Shopping
16 Center; and
17 WHEREAS, tb.e City of Oroville has proposed a division of
18 said sales tax proceeds on a 50-50 basise
19 NOW, THEREFOREy BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
20 OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTEr STATE OE` CALIFORNIA, as follows:
21 1. That the County of Butts hereby concurs in the Resolutio
22 of the City Council of the City of Oroville dated the 1st day of
23 July, 1963, favoring an equal division of the sales tax proceeds
24 arising from sales made in the Oroville Plaza Shopping Center
25 and hereby further agrees to an equal division of said sales
26 tax proceeds between the City of Oroville and the County of Butte.
27 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded t
,28 the City Council of the City of Oroville and to the Board of
29 Equalization of the State of California.
30 PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
31 County of Butte, State of California, this i3th day of August,
32 1963, by the following vote:
