August 20 , 1963
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY. OF BUTTE AUTHORIZING THE EYEING OF A
DISCLAIMER
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has been served as a defendant
in an action to condemn certain land in said County, which action
is now pending in the District Court of the United States, in and
for the Northern District of California, Northern Division, en-
titled therein, "United States of America, plaintiff, v. 217.2
acres of land in.Butte County, State of California, HAROLD V.
THOMASSON , etal., defendants", No. 8636; and
WHEREAS, the title to the estate and interest condemned in
said action vested in the United States of America on April 11,
lgb3, and since said day has been in possession of said land;
subject to existing easements for County Roads; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the Countyof Butte has no interest
in the lands subject of the above action, as. described in the
complaint on file therein, and the County Auditor of the County of
Butte advises that there are no existing liens for taxes against
the lands subject of the above entitled action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said County of Butte has
and makes no claim to any title or interest in or to the lands
subject of the abosre entitled action, or any compensation which may
hereafter be awarded for the taking thereof, and the District At-
torney is hereby directed and authorized to file an appropriate
disclaimer in the above entitled action.

I, the undersigned duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, California, do hereby
certify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy
of a Resolution duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of Butte, and that said Resolution was
