'4' I~utte has recommended to this Board of Supervisors that it be to

6: certain county highway be named and that the existing names of
7 certain other county higtaways be changed; and
'g ~~€-IEBEAS, the Board of Supervisors concurs with the
9 recommendations of its Planning Commissioner;

11. Supervisors does hereby give natice of its intention to nai~e and
12 rename the follor,~ing county highways, to wit:
13: 1. That the section of the relocated State P-3ighway
I4 P~oute 474 Sign F.oute 32 that has been reverted to
25 t`~e County of Butte and described as folio=NS:
ls' Beginning at engineer's station 351f00; thence
proceeding northerly and easterly along the
superseded portion of State P~ighway 32 approxi-
17 mately 1-1/2 miles to engineer's station 919f~0

26 known as "Oroville-(~uiney I?oad", superseded by

28 Project in 1939 and described as follows:

of said relocation; thence proceeding northerly

Road" anc' the "aroville-Quincy Roac?" from the
City T.imits of the City of Oroville easterly to
its junction with the Lumpkin Road at Lake
'~lyandotte be changed to "OLIVE HIG~1~77AY".
5. That the name of the County highway now
known as "1~ailroad Avenue" in the Paradise Irri-
gation District be changed to "~3ERKS~IIRE A'4~E1'~UE".
BE IT FURT~-?EI£ RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors
set the date of September ~_, 1963, at the haur Q`~,;A„M_____,
as the date and time of a public hearing in the Supervisors
Dooms Courthouses Orovilles at which time the Soard will consider
the proposal to name and change tt!e name of the County highways
hereinbefore specified;
ALSO RE IT FUFT'~E~? RESOLVE~3 that the I9irector of
Public ~~lorks of the County, or his designated assistant, be
instructed to post or cause to be posted copies of this
resolution pursuant to the requirements of Section970.5 of the
Streets and highways Code of the State of California.
The foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, at the regular meeting thereof on the __,~Q~,,,,_,___~
