RESOLUTION No. 63-118
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APPROVING THE IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL HIGHC~ USERS
TADS AND FEES AND REQUESTING APPORTIONMENT OF SUCH
MONIES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER lb'52, STATUTES OF 1963
TrIHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California did enact into
law the Collier-Unruh Transportation Development Act, Chapter 1852 of the
Statutes of 1963; and
WHEREAS, Section 10.2 of said Act requires that before any apportion-
ment is made, a resolution be adopted by the governing board of the local
agency approving the imposition of the additional highway users taxes and fees
and requesting that apportionment of the funds be made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:
1. That it approves the imposition of the additional highway users
taxes and fees pursuant to said Act.
2. That it requests that apportionments be made to the County of
Butte in accordance with the provision of ;said Act.
3. That it is aware of the necessity of conforming to the matching
provisions as prescribed by Section 14 of said Act.
y.. That all monies rec~;vsd by the County of Butte from the State
under the provisions of Section 10.2 of said Act ~ZZ be deposited in the Road
Find and expended exclusively for the acquisition of rights of way for and the
construction of routes on the select :system of County highways established
pursuant to Section 12 of said Act.
5. That the Clerk of the Board be directed to forward certified
copies of this Resolution through the usual channels to the Department of
Public Works, State of California, Sacramento.
The foregoing resolution was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of this Board on the 10th ~,y of September
1963, upon roll call by the following vate:
