RESOLUTION N0. 63-124 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE THEREOF Government Code Section 25526, et se .) WHEREAS. the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, did on the 6th day of August, 1963, pass and adopt a resolution entitled, "Resolution and Notice Declaring Intention to Sell Real Property;" and WHEREAS, notice of said intended sale was given in accordance with Section 25528 of the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was in said Notice of Intention described; and WHEREAS, MARVIN L. CHERNOW, submitted the highest written ~ proposal at the sale, to wit, the sum of $37,500.00; and WHEREAS, upon the opening of said written proposals, no higher oral bid was obtained. NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisor of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows;. 1. That the written bid of MARVTN L. CHERNOW of 749 Filbert Avenue, Chico, California, in the sum of $37,500.00 for the hereinafter described real property, being the highest bid received therefor, is hereby formally accepted. 2. That the Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to MARVTN L. CHERNOW and LENORE P. CHERNOW, husband and wife, as tenants in common, a quit claim deed, of the ~ereinafter:.described real propetty, for delivery in accordance with the terms of sale. l 2 3 4 5 6 7 9 10 ll 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 za 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 3p 31 County of Butte, State of California, and mare particularly ~ described as follows, to wit= The South 61 feet of Lot Seven (7} in Blt~ck Thirteen (l3) according to the official map of the City {formerly Town) of Chico, which map was filed in the office of the Recordef of the County of Butte, State of Calif- ornia, being more particularly described as follows, to wit. BEG~NNTNG at a point in the Easterly line of Wall Street at a point which is 5 feet Southerly from the Southwest corner of Lot 8 in Block 13; thence in an Easterly direction parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot 8, 132 feet to the Line between Lots 2 and 7 of said Block; thence Southerly along the line of said Lots 2 and 7, 61 feet to the Southeasterly corner of Lot 7; thence Westerly along the South line of Said Lot 7, 132 feet to the Easterly line of Wall Street; and thence Norther3.y along the Easterly line of Wall Street, 61 feet to the point of beginning. Commonly known as 315 Wall Street, Chico,. California. 4. That the County Counsel of the County of Butte be authorized to give the necessary instructions to formally close said sale in accordance with the terms thereof. 5. The foregoing Resolution was adopted and passed at a regular open meeting of said Board held on the 17th day of September, 1963, upon ro11 call by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Steznegger NOES z None ABSENT : None EMTL G.
