RESOLVED: That
Emil G. Steinegger is hereby
authorized and designated as the representative of the County of Butte
State of California, to sign and present an application on its behalf to the
Department of Veterans Affairs of the State of California for State moneys under
Section 972 of the Military and Veterans Code, State of California, Chapter 1493,
Statutes of 1945; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: That said representative is hereby authorized and designated
to execute an agreement on behalf of said County with said Department of Veterans
Affairs covering the terms and conditions under which any amount of State moneys
is to be granted to the said County; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED: That the amount of State moneys to be allotted will be deter-
mined by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and matching funds may be provided
by the County in the proportions as required by agreement with said Department,

APPLICATION FOR STATE MONEYS FOR COUNTY SERVICE OFFICER

TO DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS:
Application is hereby made for an allotment of State moneys, in an amount
to be determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs, to carry out the
activities authorized by Sections 971 and 972 of the Military and Veterans
Code of the State of Galifornia for the period of July 1, 19b3 to June 30,
19b4.
A copy of a Resolution adopted by the County Board of Supervisors authorizing
this application, a copy of our approved budget for this office for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1961, and form DSC 11a for retirement information,
are hereby attached to and made a part of this application.
