Over thirty counties presently utilize reciprocal agreements to avoid the onerous impositions of this code section which has been aptly described as an "administrative and budgetary nightmare." 3- Extension of the provisions of Sections 3045, et seq. of the Civil Oode. This Section of the law provides a statutory lien for hospitals with respect to personal injury litigation andsettlements.
