HomeMy WebLinkAbout63-143RESOLUTION N0. 63~ ~ ~ 3 1. 2. 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10- 11 12 13 l~k 15. is ~7 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLUTION ORDERING EXCHANGE Of' PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE DEED WHEREAS, the County of Butte is the owner of certain real property, and WHEREAS, said property is not being used for public purposes, and WHEREAS,-PAT SCOTT & RUTH SCOTT are owners of property necessary to public use, and are willing to exchange properties with the County and WHEREAS, said properties are of equal value. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Ol' THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, State of California, that the real property hereinafter described as parcel 1 is not being used fox a public or county purpose and that it is equal to in value of the property owned by PAT SCQ2T & RUTH SCOTT hereinafter described as Parcel 2. BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County of Butte exchange Parcel No. 1 with the Scott's for Parcel ~~2 and the Chairman be authorized to execute all documents for said exchange. Said real property is described as follows; PARCEL 1. A portion of Canyon Highlands Drive (Bueva Nista Avenue); as shown on that certain map of the Grand View Subdivision, filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, April 12, 1909, in Book 6 of Maps at page 87; said portion is all that part thereof described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of Section 16, Tl9N, R4E, MDB&M; thence S 00° O1' W, along the west line of said Section 16 a distance of 662.26 feet to a point on the northerly line of said Canyon Highlands Drive, and the true point of beginning of this description; thence N 58° 49' E along said northerly line 61.16 feet; thence S 89° 02' E along said northerly line 53.64 feet to the westerly right-of-way line of Eucalyptus Avenue; thence S 73o O1' 03" W, leaving said northerly and westerly lines 110.79 feet to the west line of said Section 1b; thence N 00° 011 E along said west line, 1.60 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing an area of 0.022 acres more or less. PARCEL 2, A portion of Lot 28, as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of the Pleasant Valley Tract", which map was recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California, November 20, 1890, in Book 7 of Maps at Page 75 and a portion of Zot 19, as shown on that certain map entitled, "Map of Grand View, a subdivision near Oroville, Butte County, California," which map was recorded in said Recorder's Office, April 12, 1909, in Book 6 of Maps at page 87; said portion is all that part thereof described as follows: Commencing of the northeast corner of Section 17, T19N, R4E, MDB&M; thence S 00 O1' W along the east line of said Section 17, a distance of 663.86 feet to the true point of beginning of this description; thence continuing S 08° O1' W along said east line 17.12 feet to the existing northerly right-of-way line of Oroville- Quincy Highway; thence N 69° 38" W along said line 143.64 feet; thence leaving said line N 16° 38' E 5.01 feet; thence S 69° 38'' E 123.55 feet; thence N 73° 01'03" E 18.22 feet to the true point ,._ of beginning of this description.
