BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE BUTTE COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
C0~'IMTSSION
1~ETE~AS, Section 26104 of the Government Code, State of
California, permits a Board of Supervisors to create a body for the
purpose of advising, and assisting it in the matter of advertising,
exploiting-and making known the resources of the County; and
TIHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, to create such a body to
accomplish these objectives;
NO~I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That there is hereby established and created., in the County
of Butte, a body for the purpose of exercising the powers mentioned
in Section 26104 of the Government Code; said body to be known as
"County Economic Development Commission".
2. That the Butte County economic Develo ment
Commission shall consist of five members who shall be
appointed by the Board of Supervisors, one member of which shall be
nominated by each member of the Board of Supervisors, to serve for a
term as prescribed by law.
PASSED AND ADOFTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this Ord day of December 1963
