1 RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY
2 HIGHWAY A~TD NOTICE OF TIME AND .PLACE OF HEARING.
(Sections 957, 958, 95q, 959?, q60 of Streets and Highways Code)

4; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
5 OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
6 to That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors
7' to abandon the County Highway hereinafter described, pursuant to
S Petition an file herein and in accordance with Section q57 of the
9 Streets and Highways Code of this States reserving and excepting
~.0 from the abandonment the easement and right at any time, or from

12, and renew sanitary sewers, utilities storm drains and
13 appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any highway or
i4 part thereof proposed to be abandoned pursuant to Section g5go1
15 of said Streets and Highways Code.
~.6 2. That the hearing on this Resolution to Abandon County
].7 Highway shall be held on Tuesday, the 7th day of January, 1964,
18 at 11:00 A.NI. of said day in the Supervisors' Room in the Butte
19 County Courthouse, fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville,
2p California, at which time said Board will hear evidence of any
21 party interestedo
22' 3~ That this Resolution and Notice is adapted pursuant
23 to a motion of the Board of Supervisors of the, County of Butte,
24 State of California.
25 4a That a copy of this Resolution of Intention shall be
26 published in the Oroy~.lle Mercury ~ a
2'7 newspaper of general circulation in the County of Butte, and
28, copies conspicuously posted, all as required by Section 958 of

All that certain real property situate in the County
of Butte, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of V-4 Road as shown upon the map of
Villa Verona, being a subdivision in section 27~
township 19 North, Range 4 East MaD.B.&M.? according
to the official map thereof filed in the office of
the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of
California, January 17, 1$89 lying between blocks
27 and 30 of Villa Verona Subdivision extending
from the Easterly line of the tidest one-half of
lot 9 in block 27 and lot 13 in block 30, Easterly
to the Northwesterly line of Oroville-Bangor Highway.
The foregoing Resolution was Passed and Adopted on the
23rd day of Aecember ~ 19 63 ~ by the
following vote;
AYES: Supervisors Giles, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman S~einegger
NOES : None
