2 RESOLUTTON AidD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY
HIGHUTAY AND NOTICE OF TTA'~ AND PLACE OF HEARING

g BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
g OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
7 1• That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors
8 to abandon the County Highway hereinafter described, pursuant
9 to Section 956.8 of the Streets and Highways Code of this
10 State, reserving and excepting from the abandonment the ease-
11 went and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct,
sanitary sewers,utili
12 maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew/storm drains and
13 appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any highway
14 of part thereof proposed to be abandoned pursuant to Section
15 959.1 of said Streets and Highways Code.
16 2. That the hearing on this Resolution to Abandon County
lq Highway skzall be held on Tuesday ~ the 14tH
lg day of ~, ,3anuarq , 1964, at 1:3o P. ~,~, of Said
19 day in the Supervisors' Room in the Butte County Courthouse,
20 fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville, California, at which
21 time said Board will hear evidnece of any party interested.
22 3. That this Resolution and Notice is adopted pursuant
23 to a motion of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
24 State of California.
25 4. That a copy of this Resolution of Intention shall be
28 published in the Chico Enterprise ~ a
27 newspaper of general circulation in the County of Butte, and
28 copies conspicuously posted, all as required by Section 958 of
29 said Streets and Highways Code.
30 5• That the County Highway the subject of this Resolution
31 and Notice is situate in the County of Butte, State of
32 California, and described as follows:

1 That portion of Slate Street, lying between the east
line of Laurel Street (Skyway) and the west line of
2 Fir Street, and that part of Fir Street between the
south line of Mica Street and the north line of Lava
3 Street as said streets are shown on that certain map
of Stirling City, filed in the office of the Recorder
4 of the County of Butte, State of California,
August 3, 1903, in Map Book ~+, page 33, subject to the
6 following described drainage easement:
6 Beginning at the mast southerly corner of Lot 1,
Block 12; thence northeasterly along the southerly
7 line of said Lot 1 and its extension to the easterly
line of Fir Street; thence southeasterly along said
8 easterly line 20.00 feet; thence southwesterly,
parallel to and 20.00 feet southerly of the southerly
9 line of Lot ]., Block 12, to the easterly line of
Laurel Street (Skyway); thence along said Laurel
10 Street northwesterly 20.00 feet to the point of
beginning.

The foregoing Resolution was Passed and Adopted on the
