3 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY COUNSEL

6 WHEREAS, there will be a vacancy in the office of the
7 County Counsel of the County of Butte on the first day of March,
8 1964; and
9 WHEREAS, by amendment to Ordinance No. 776 (Salary
10 Ordinance) of the County of Butte, a salary has been provided for
11 a full-time County Counsel;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
13 of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
14 1. That GEORGE P. KADING is hereby appointed as County
15 Counsel of the County of Butte, said appointment to be effective
16 and his term of office to commence as of the first day of March,
17 1964. That the office of County Counsel shall be a full-time posi-
18 tion and that the appointee thereto, GEORGE P. KADING, shall be
19 covered by the blanket bond of the County and no separate bond
20 shall be required.
21 The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
22 Giles , who moved its adoption, seconded by
23 Supervisor Pryde , and said Resolution was passed
24 this 21st day of January, 1964, on roll call by the following vote:
25 AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKillop
26 NOES: None
27 ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge
28 NOT VOTING:
