RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE AUTHORIZING THE
OFA A DISCLAIMER
WHEREAS, the County of Butte has been
served as a defendant in an action to condemn certain lands
in said County, which action is now pending in the District
Court of the United States, in and for the Northern District
of California, Northern Division, entitled therein,
United States of America, 'Plaintiff, vs. 69.60 Acres of Land,
more or less, situate in Butte, Sutter, Yuba and Placer Counties,
State of California, LOREN H. DUENSING, et al., and UNKNOWN OWN-
ERS, Defendants, Civil No. 85141; and
WHEREAS, the title to the lands subject of said action
vested in the United States on the 24th day of September, 1962
a3x, and since said day the United States has been in
,possession of said lands, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the County of Butte
has no interest in the land subject of this action, and the
Tax Collector of Butte County advises that there
are no existing liens for taxes against said' above land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that said County of
Butte has and makes no claim to any title or
interest in and to said land subject of this action, or any
compensation which may hereafter be awarded for the taking
thereof, and the District Attorney is hereby directed and
authorized to file an appropriate Disclaimer in the above
entitled action.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Supervisor
Steinegger , who moved its adoption, seconded by
5upery sor Giles , and said Resolution was
adopted on roll call by the following vote:

25! I compensation to be awarded for the taking thereof.
