RESOLUTION NO . i:~~ ~~~
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTX OF BUTTE , STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION DECLARING EMERGENCY TO PROVIDE FOR MANDATORY
EXPENDITURES
WHEREAS, there exists a budget deficiency in the Welfare
program for General Assistance and Medical Aid to the Aged; and
WHEREAS, said assistance programs are mandatory, according
to law; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available from which the expendit-
ure may be properly paid,
;:,.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte that they hereby find an emergency exists
'in that there are .insufficient funds in the Welfare budget to
meet the mandatory requirements of assistance required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
12th
County of Butte, State of Calif ornia, this /~ day of May, 1964,
by the following-vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKillop
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge
