BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING CHAIRMAN TO
EXECUTE DEED
WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 28th day of April, 1964, the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Galifornia,
duly adopted and passed Resolution No. 64-34, entitled "Resolution
and Notice Declaring Intention To Sell Real Property (Government
Code Section 25526 et sego); anal
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, the 26th day of May, 1964, pursuant to
Notice duly and properly given, bids were opened for the purchase
of property herein described; and
WriEREAS, JAMES Ro MILLER submitted the highest bid of
$500,00; and
WHEREAS, all.of the conditions contained in said Notice of
Intention To Se11 have been performed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD Of' SUPERVISORS
of the County of Butte, State of California, that the bid of JAMES
R. MILLER be accepted, and that the Chairman of said Board be, and
he is hereby authorized to execute the Deed from the County of
Butte to JAMES R. MILLER, for the following described property:
A?.1 that real property situate in the County of Butte,
State of California, and more particularly described
as follows, to wit:
A portion of Lot 17, as shown on that certain map entitled,
"Town of Cherokee", which map was recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Butte, State of
California, in Volume 7 of Maps, at page 79, and more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of said Lot 17;
thence along the north line of said Lot 17, S 70°00'53" E,
190.00 feet; thence S 83°02'31" Zd, 216.20 feet to the south-
west corner of the said Lot 17; thence along the west line
of the said Lot 17 N 2l°35' E 98.00 feet to the point of
beginningo.
Containing 0.214 acres, more or less.
