2 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
3 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 625 REGARDING
JURY DUTY

5 W~TEREAS, it is necessary to establish a policy concerning
B compensation of County employees when called for jury service; and
7: WFIEREA'S, this Board has investigated practices in this and
8 similar areas,
g NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
10 of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
li That Resolution No. 625, Section 9.9 shall be, and is here
12 by, amended to read as follows:
13 119.9 JURY DUTY
14 An employee called for jury duty may not receive pay
15 ment for jury services and still receive his regular pay, If
16 called for service he may elect to:
17 a, Receive his jury fee and also receive salary
lg payments chargeable to equivalent time off
19 (compensatory time).
20 b. Receive his jury fee and also receive salary
21 payments chargeable to vacation.
22 c. Receive his jury fee and take a leave of absence
23 without pay.
24 d. 7daive his 'jury fee and still receive his normal
2g salary as a county employees
26 P ASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County
27 of Butte, State of California, this 26th day of May, 1964,
