WHEREAS, Section 256 of the Streets & Highways Code of this State
requires that the Department of Public Works of the State of California
recommend revisions in the Freeway and Expressway System and the entire
State Highway System of this State to the legislature in 1965 and every four
years thereafter; and
WHEREAS, the bepartment of Public Wozks has requested the local
agencies in the State for an expression of their views and recommendations;
NOWT THEREFORE~'BE ;IT RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors re«
quests the Department o£ Public Works of the State of California to recommend
to the legislature of this State that a connection from State Highway Route
70 in the City of Oroville easterly to the Oroville Dam be added to the
State Highway System.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California at the regular meeting thereof on the 26th day

AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKilJop
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge
NOT VOTING: None
