HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-054 RESOLUTION NO. 64-SY } BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 2 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA 3 RESOLUTION AND NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABANDON COUNTY HIGHWAY AND NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING (Sections 4 956.8 and 958, Streets and Highways Code) 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF 6 BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows: 7 1. That it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors 8 to abandon the County Highway hereinafter described, pursuant to 9 Section 956.8 of the Streets and Highways Code of this State. 10 2. That the hearing on this Resolution to Abandon County 11 Highway shall be held on Tuesday, the 30th day of June, 1964, at 12 /';0© M. of said day in the Supervisors' Room in the Butte 13 County Courthouse, fronting on Huntoon Street in Oroville, Calif- 14 ornia, at which time said Board will hear evidence of any party 15 interested. 16 3. That this Resolution and Notice is adopted pursuant to 17 a motion of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, Stat. 18 of California. 19 4. That a copy of this Resolution of Intention shall be 20 published in the Chico Enterprise, a newspaper of general circu- 21 lation in the County of Butte, and copies conspicuously posted, 22 all as required by Section 958 of said Streets and Highways Code. 23 5. That the County Highway, the subject of this Resolution 24 and Notice, is situate in the County of Butte, State of Califor- 25 nia, and described as follows: 26 That portion of Cosby Avenue lying 50,00 feet easterly and 50.00 feet westerly of the corner common to lots 60, 27 61, 65 and 66, in the center of Edgar Slough, as shown on that certain map of the John Crouch Subdivision, 28 recorded December 7, 1908, in Book 6 of Maps, page 81 29 30 31 32 • 1 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the 2 County of Butte, State of California, this 9th day of June, 1964 3 by the following vote: 4 AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKillop 5. NOES: None 6 ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge 78.
