BOARD OF `.SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE VALUE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY OWNED BY THE COUNTY OF BUTTE OF ~ VALUE
LESS THAN $75,00 AND DIRECTING PRIVATE SALE WITH
OUT ADVERTISING (Section 25362 of the Government
Code)
W:fEREA;S, the County of Butte is the owner of real property
which lies on both sides of Clark Road adjacent to the area
referred to as the Paradise Disposal Area; and ~I
WHEREAS, s~ d real property creates a barrier between
the real property owned ,by LYNN Ca KNAUFF and said Clark Road;
and
WHEREAS, said area is used as a buffer zone i;~ -she
operation of sai~c dump; and
WHEREAS, it is not the policy of :the County of Butte to
obstruct the development of real property by blocking access to
County roads,
NO'r7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIC`ORNIA, AS .FOLLOWS:
to That an easement across that portion of the real
property owned by the County of Butte, known as the Paradise
Dump Situ and designated as that portion of hard-surfaced road
way leading. from Clark Road to the property owned by LYNN C. ~I
IZNAUFF, is not required far public use, and that
20 It is the unanimous judgment of the Board that said
easement does not emceed in value the sum of $75000, and there
fore, that said easement may be sold by the Chairman of this
Board and the Purchasing Agent of the County of Butte at private
sale without advertising,
3, That the Chairman of this Board, in conjunction with
the Purchasing Agent, is hereby instructed to negotiate the
private sale of said easement on such terms and conditions as
may be prescribed by said Chairman and Purchasing Agent, and

that said sale shall be reported and confirmed by this Board of
Supervisorso
P~9SSEB AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the
County of Butte, Mate of California, this 23rd day of June,
1964, by the following vote:
