BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION AUTHORTZTNG THE SALE AND EXCHANGE OF
REAL PROPERTY BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AND THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, the State of California, by and through their
Division of Highways and Department of Water Resources,. have
acquired certain real property located in the County of Butte; and
WI~EREAS, the County of Butte is the owner of certain real
property which is necessary for the construction of Highway 40A;
and
'W:IEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of the State and
the County to enter into an exchange of property; and
WFLEREAS, the prices to be paid have been negotiated and
represent the fair market value of the property; and
WHEREAS, said parcels are referred to as Parcel 10763,
Division of Highways, Parcel C, T and F 18, Department of 'Water
Resources, and Parcel T, C and F 27, Department of Water Resources,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPER
VISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, as follows:
That in connection with Parcel 10763, the Chairman is
authorized to execute the Right of Tay Contract with the State
Division of Highways, State of California, and the Grant Deed to
the State of California, an Easement to the Thermalito Irrigation,
District, and a Joint Easement to Pacific Gas and Electric Company
and the Thermalito Irrigation District, and that the consideration
of $410.00 be accepted by the county of Butte, in connection with
the transfer of the aforesaid Parcel 10763.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in connection with Parcel
T, C and F 18, the Chairman is authorized to sign the contract
with the Department of 'YTater Resources, referred to as a Right

of Way Contract, and the Deed conveying a portion of said parcel,.
and in connection with the exchange, that the County pay to the
State of California the sum of $13.,070.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED in connection with Parcel T, C
and F 27, that the Chairman is authorized to sign the Contract
with the Department of 'T~Tatei.Resources and execute the Grant Deed
in connection with the same, and that the County is hereby authorP
ized to receive the sum of $160.00..
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this 30th day of June
1964, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Cteairman McKillop
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Alldredge
