HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-077RESOLUTION N0, 64-7~~ BOARD OF SUPERVISORS '1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 , '11 12' 13 1~ ,15 16 '17 18 '19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION ORDERING THE FORBESTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT TO BE LAPSED AND ORDERING THE LAPSED DISTRICT TO BE ANNEXED TO THE YUBA= FEATHER JOINT UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT (Sections 2701 through 2704 of the Education Code of the State of California) 7af~IEREAS, the County Superintendent of .Schools of the County of Butte, State of California, has reported to the Board of Super- visors that the Forbestown :School District, during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1964, had an average daily attendance, in grades one through eight, of less than six, and that the Forbestown Schoo District in Butte County has been organized more than three years; and WFIEREAS, the County Superintendent of Schools of Butte County has recommended that the entire territory now combined within the Forbestown School District in said County, be annexed to the Yuba-Feather Joint Union :School District, an adjacent school district in Yuba County, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BX THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOT^TS: 1, That the Forbestown School District, in the County of Butte, be declared to be lapsed, 2. That the entire territory now combined within the Forbestown School District be annexed to the YubaAFeather Joint Union School District, an adjacent school district in Yuba County PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the Count of Butte, State of California, this 28th day of ~7uly 1964, by the following vote: Aye; Supervisors Alldredge, Ciles, Pryde, Steinegger & Chairman McKil: NOES: None ABSENT: None ` J NicK LLOP, irman o the rd of Supervisors ATTEST: JE'SSIE ROGERS, County Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the Board of Supervisors By Deputy
