HomeMy WebLinkAbout64-083SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RESOLUTION N0. 6c~~as APPROVING DISTRICT MAP, BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION AND DESIGNATING NAME OF DISTRICT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA: That the map submitted by the County Surveyor-Director of Public iTlorks showing the boundaries of "SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSES~IJIENT DISTRICT", be and the same is hereby, approved and that the Clerk of this Board shall file it in her office, That this Board finds and determines that the description attached hereto and marked Exhibit "A" is the true description of the boundary line of the area of said District. That all of the Resolutions to be adopted respecting said "SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT" shall refer to said map in lieu of describing the boundaries of said District in detail. That the said area set forth and described in said map and description is hereby designated as the "SHASTA UNION DRAINAGE -1- ASSESSMENT DISTRICT" by which name it shall be known in all proceedings of this Board relative thereto. S. Highway 99E with the Northerly bank of Lindo Channel, thence Westerly along the Northerly bank of Lindo Channel to a point on the Northeasterly boundary line of Cussick Avenue; thence Northwesterly along said boundary line of Cussick Avenue and the Northeasterly boundary line of Bay Avenue to a point on the Northern boundary of Bay Tract No. 2, the official map of which is recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book lA of NTaps at page 42; thence along the Northerly boundary of Bay Tract No. 2 to the Southeast corner of Lot 3 of the Brooke Estate, as filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 9 as Map 37; thence Westerly along the Southerly boundary line of said Brooke Estate to the Southeast corner of Lot 6 of said Brooke Estate; thence Northerly on the Easterly line of said Lot 6 to the Southerly boundary line of Mud Creek; thence Northeasterly along the Southeasterly boundary line of T~dud Creek to Sycamore Creek; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly boundary line of Sycamore Creek to a point exactly true North of the intersection of the Southerly boundary line of Eaton Road and the South- westerly boundary line of Burnap Avenue; thence South to said intersection point; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly boundary of Burnap Avenue to the Westerly edge of the Sacramente Northern Railroad right-- of-way; thence Southerly along the Westerly edge of the Sacramento Northern ,Railroad right-of-tiJay to the Northern boundary line of the Bel-Aire Subdivision Unit No. 2, the Official Map of which is recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 22 of Maps at pages 7 and 8; thence Westerly along the Northerly boundary line of said Bel--Aire Subdivision Unit No. 2 to the boundary line of the.Be1-Aire Subdivision Unit Na. 1, the Official Maps of which are recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 21 of Maps, at pages 50 and 51; thence Southerly along the boundary line of said Bel-Aire Subdivision Unit No. 1 to the Northwesterly boundary line of East Avenue; thence Southwesterly along the Northwesterly boundary of East Avenue, crossing Tom Polk Avenue, to the Northeasterly boundary line of Lynnviood Manor, the Official Map of which is recorded in the office of the Retarder of the County __ of Butte in Book 21 of Maps, at pages 8 and 9; thence Northwesterly along the Northeasterly boundary line of said Lynnwood b4anor to the Southeasterly boundary line of Panama Avenue; thence Southwesterly along the South- easterly boundary line of Panama Avenue to the most Westerly corner of said Lynnwood T7anor Subdivision; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly boundary of said Lynnwood Manor Subdivision to the Northwesterly boundary line of East Avenue; thence Southeasterly, crossing East Avenue, parallel to, and 330 feet there- from, the Southwesterly boundary line of Tom Polk Avenue, to a point on a Northeasterly extension of the South- westerly boundary of Connors Avenue; thence Southwesterly along said extension to the most Northerly corner of Connors Subdivision the Official ~~~ap of which is filed for record in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 16 of Maps at page 22; thence continuing along the Southeasterly boundary of Connors Avenue to a poa.nt 200.00 feet from the Northeasterly boundary of High- way 99E, formerly knov~n as Shasta Road; thence South- easterly parallel to and 200.00 feet therefrom, the Northeasterly boundary line of said Highway 99E, to a point on the Southwesterly extension of the Southeasterly boundary of Oaks Town and Country Subdivision, the Official Map of which is recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte at Book 18 of Maps at page 7; thence Northeasterly along said extension to the most Southerly corner of said Oaks Town and Country Subdivision; thence continuing Northeasterly along the Southeasterly boundary of said Oaks Towm and Country Sub- division to the most Southerly corner of Arroyo Park Subdivision Unit No. 2 the Official Map of which is re- corded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 20 of Maps at page 22; thence continuing Northeasterly along the Southeasterly boundary line of said Arroyo Park Subdivision to the most Southerly corner of the Arroyo Chico Manor Subdivision Unit No. 2, the Official ~.4ap of which is recorded in the office of the Recorder of the County of Butte in Book 20 of maps at pages 51 and 52; thence continuing Northeasterly along the Southeasterly boundary of said Arroyo Chico Adanor Subdivision and extension thereof to the Westerly boundary line of the Sacramento Northern Railroad right-of -way; thence Southerly along the Westerly boundary line of the Sacramento Northern Railroad right-of-way to the North- westerly bank of Lindo Channel; thence Southwesterly along the Northvesterly bank of Lindo Channel to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom Lots 4 through 14 inclusive of Reed Park Subdivision Unit No. 1 and Lots 15 through 31 in- clusive of Reed Park Subdivision Unit No. 2.
