WHEREAS, Charles 0. Rhien has elected to retire under the
provisions and conditions of the State Employees Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, said Charles 0. Rhien entered the employment of the
County of Butte on April 1, 1922, and has rendered County continuous service
since that date; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte, acting through this Board of
Supervisors is particularly appreciative of this Ioyal and long service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEB by the County of Butte Board of
Supervisors that Charles 0. Rhien is hereby commended for his many years of
faithful and devoted service to the County of Butte and this Board by this
resolution expresses the appreciation of County for the many years of IoyaL
devotion to duty;
BS IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Board is hereby
instructed to certify a copy of this resolution and forthwith deliver the
same to said Charles 0. Rhien.
PASSED AND ADppTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, at the regular meeting on the 1st day
of September , 19b4, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKillop
NOES; None
