BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTX OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
ORDER AND RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF
BUTTE, PROVIDING FOR CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT
ELECTION FOR INCREASE OF MAXIMUM ANNUAL RATE OF DISTRICT TAX
FOR THE OROVILLE UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRTCT WITH THE GENERAL
STATEirJIDE ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 3, 1964.

WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Oroville Union High
School District of Butte County, California, has called and
-ordered to be held in said District on the 3rd day of Novembers
1964, a special school district election for increase of maxi-
mum annual rate of district tax for the Oroville Union High
School District, and has requested this Board to order consolid-
ation of said special school district election for increase of
maximum annual rate of district tax for the Oroville Union High
School District with the Statewide G~-eral Election to be held
on November 3, 1964;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordered and resolved by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Calif ornia, as
follows:
1. That the special school district election for increase
of maximum annual rate of district tax for the Oroville Union
High School District to be held in the Oroville Union High
School District on November 3, 1964, at which election there
shall be submitted to the::qualified electors of said district
the measure of increasing the maximum tax rate of the district
from $.85 to $1.25 per hundred assessed valuation,. is to be
consolidated with the Statewide election to be held on November
3, 1964.
2. That the returns of said special school election for
increase of maximum annual rate of district tax for the Oroville
Union High School District shall be canvassed by the County Clerk

of the County of Butte and certified to the Governing Board of
the district. Further, said consolidated special school district
election for increase of maximum annual rate of district tax for
the Oroville Union High School District and the Statewide General
Election shall be held in all respects as though there were only .
one election,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, at the regular meeting
thereof on the 1st day of September, 1964, by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and
Chairman McKillop
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
