RESOLUTION ADOPTING MAP AND REPORT OF ROUTES FOR SELECT
SYSTEM AND REQUESTING THAT SUCH SYSTEM BE APPROVED BY
THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION
1 WHEREAS, Chapter 1852 of the Statutes of 1963 provides for the
2' establishment of a select system of City streets and County roads for the
3 purpose of expending thereon funds apportioned to the cities and counties
4 from the State highway fund and the expenditure of matching funds from other
$ sources; and
6 WHEREAS, Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code, as adopted
ry by said Chapter 1852, provides for the submission by each city and county by
8 October I, 1964= a map and report of select system routes to the California
9 Highway Commission fOr review and approval; and
10 WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for review a map
11 and report prepared by the County Road Commissioner to establish a select
12 system for the County of Butte;
13 NOWT, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Supervisors of the
14 County of Butte as follows:
15 1. That certain map, entitled "MAP OF SELECT SYSTEM OF COUNTY
16 ROADS, COUNTY OF BUTTE;,.CALTFORNTA", dated September 15, 1964, and that certain
7.7 report entitled "SELECT S~3t,GENf REPORT., COUNTY OE BUTTE'S dated September 15,
18 1964, copies of which are on file in the office of the County Road Commissioner
19 and incorporated herein as if set out in full herein, are hereby approved by
20 this Board as the select system of roads for the County of Butte under
21 Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Cnde.
22 2. The California Highway Commission is hereby requested to
23 appro~re the select system as shown on the above mentioned map and described
24 in the above mentioned report.
25 3. The County Road Commissioner is hereby directed to transmit
26 certified copies of this resolution with the maps and reports to W. L.
2'7 Warren, District Engineer of the District III, Marysville, Division of
28 Highways, for transmittal to the California Highway Commission.
