BOARD OF SUPERVI'SOR'S
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
R~OLUTION APPROVING ANNEXATION OF CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF BIGGS
WHEREAS, the City of Biggs, pursuant to Government Code
35203, petitioned the Board of Supervisors requesting annexation
of certain land to the city; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said request, notice of the proposed
annexation was published in a newspaper of general circulation
for five successive days; and
'WHEREAS, this is the time and place set in said notice
for said hearing,
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE that this Board finds that no protests
were made upon the question of annexation,
BE IT, THEREFORE, FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of
the hereinafter described property is hereby approved, and the
Clerk of this Board is directed to transmit to the Secretary of
State and to the City Council of the City of Biggs, copies of this
Resolution, ~'
The property approved to be annexed is described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE:
Lot 7 and the Westerly 75 feet of the Easterly
150 feet of Lot 8, in Block 19 of the Town of
Biggs, lying West of the California and Oregon
(now Southern Pacific) Railroad, according to
map thereof entitled "Official Map of the Town
of Biggs, Section 14, To 19 N, R. 2 E, Butte
County, Cal.' filed in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Butte, State of
California, February 27, 1878 in Map Book "1"
at page 79,
EXCEPTING from said Lot 7, the Easterly 75
feet thereof,

1 PARCEL TWO:
2 Lot 8 in Block 19 of the Town of Biggs lying
Nest of the Southern Pacific Railroad, as shown
`3 on that certain map entitled, "Map of the Tawn
of Biggs", which map was recorded in the office
4 of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State
. of California, February Z7, 1$78 in Book 1 of
5 Maps, at page 79,
6 EKCEPTING THEREFROM: The East 150 feet thereof.
