RESOLUTION N0. 64-115
RESOLUTION ORDERING CORK
~TrIEREAS, on August 11, 1964, this Board passed its
Resolution No. 64-86; Resolution of Intention, and declared there-
in that it intended to order certain work and certain improvements
described in said Resolution of Intention to be done for Shasta
Union Drainage Assessment District and declared therein that it
intended to order certain easements described in said Resolution
of Intention to be acquired by the County of Butte on which to
.have said work and improvements done, and
'1~HEREE~S, on August li, 1964, this Board set September t,
1964, as the day for a public hearing on the matters stated in
said Resolution of Intention, and
A~IERE~, notice of said public hearing has been given to
interested persons by mailing, posting and publishing all in the
manner and in the time as provided in the Improvement Act of 1911,
and
T~EREAS; on September 1, 1964, certain persons w:tzose names
appear in the minutes of this Board appeared and protested to the work

improvements, and acquisitions described in said Resolution of
Intention, and
WHEREAS, this Board has heard all said persons and is
fully advised on all matters pertaining to said Resolution of
Intention.
NOON THEREFORE
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA:
1. That this Board finds and determines that the public
interest and convenience require and that this Board hereby orders
that the places, rights of way and public roads described in Resolu-
tion No. 64-86 Resolution of Intention passed by this Board on
August 11, 1964 be improved with the work and improvements described
in said Resolution of Intention and this Board hereby refers to
said. Resolution No. 64-86 for a description of said work and
improvements.
2, That this Board finds and determines that each of
the planes, and rights of way described in Resolution Nc. 64-86
Resolution of Intention is a necessary place or right of way for
constructing said work and improvements and that this Board. hereby
orders that each of said. places and rights of way not now owned
by the County of Butte be acquired by the County of Butte and that
the cost thereof including incidental expenses thereof shall be
assessed as a part of the cost and expense of said work and improve-
ments and this Board hereby refers to said Resolution No. 64-86

for a description of said easements.
3. That this Board hereby overrules all protests against
the proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution
No. 64-86 and against the proposed acquisitions described in said
Resolution and hereby denies all protests filed against the extent
of the district of lands proposed to be assessed to pay for the costs
of said work and improvements and. said acquisitions and the inci-
dental expenses of constructing the same and of acquiring the same.
4. That the Clerk of this Board in accordance with the
Improvement Act of 1911 shall advertise for bids for doing all of
said work and constructing said improvements when this Board. in
a resolution that this Board shall adopt at a future date shall
set a date for receiving bids for said work and improvements and
shall direct the Clerk to advertise for such bids to be presented
to this Board on that date.

BUTTE, S.Tb.TE OF CALIFORNIA, THIS- 22nd DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1964, by
the following vote:
AYES: SUPERVISORS GILES, PRYDE, STEINEGGER AND CHAIRMAN MC KILLOP
NOES: SUPERVISORS ----

NOT VOTING: SUPERVISOR ALLDREDGE
