(b) The building or.purchasing of school (buildings. (e) The supplying of school buildings and grounds with furniture, equipment or necessary apparatus of a permanent nature. - (f} The permanent improvement of the school ~ grounds. (h} The carrying out the projects and purpose authorized by Section 15811 of the Education Code to wit; Provid- ing sewers and drains, adequate to treat and/or dispose of sewage and drainage on or away from each school property. (f) The permanent improvement of the school grounds. (h) The carrying out the projects and. purposes authorized by Section 15811 of the Education Code to wit; Provid- ing sewers and drains, adequate to treat and/or dispose of sewage and drainage on or away from each school property. That said election was called by publication or post- ing of notice thereof by said county superintendent of schools as required by law and as set forth in the certificate of the governing board of said school district heretofore filed with this board; That 'said election was held in said district on said day appointed therefor in said notice thereof, and was in all respects held and conducted, the returns thereof duly and legally canvassed, and the result thereof declared, as required by law; that from said returns said governing board found and confirmed, and said Board of Supervisors now finds and declares, that: (1) THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($385,000.00) of bonds of the Paradise Unified School District for high school purposes; that there were 4„8.79 votes cast at said election, and that more than two-thirds thereof, to wit; :3,,:367 votes were cast in favor of. issuing said bonds and 1,.512 votes and no more were cast against issuing said bonds, and said governing board caused an entry of the result of the vote on said Proposition I~7o. 1 to be made on its minutes; that this Board of Supervisors has received a certified copy of a resolution duly adopted by the governing board of said district on the 8th day of June, 1964, prescribing the total amount of bonds to be sold for -3- %eROS- ~ x~AO coPr ( ~ corY ~ - %ERO' COi'Y w 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 %ERO' 'COPY ~\ high school purposes, to wit, THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($385,000.00}; that all acts, conditions and things require by aw to be done or performed have een done and performed in strict conformity with the laws authorizing the issuance of school bonds; and that the total amount of indebtedness of said district, including this proposed issue of bonds, is within the limit pre- scribed by law; (2) FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($495,000.00) of bonds of the Paradise Unified School District for elementary school purposes; that there were 4,867 votes cast at said election, and that more than two-thirds thereof, to wit: 3,314 votes were cast in favor of issuing said bonds and 1,553 votes and no more were-cast. against issuing said bonds, and said governing board caused an entry of the result of the vote on said Proposition No. 3 to be made on its minutes; that this Board of Supervisors has received a certified copy of a resolution duly adopted by the governing board of said district on the 8th day of June, 1964, prescribing the total amount of bonds to be sold for high school purposes, to wit, FOUR HUNDRED NINETY--FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($495,000.00); that all acts, conditions and things require by law to be done or performed have been done and performed in strict conformity with the laws authorizing the issuance of school bonds; and that the total amount of indebtedness of said district, including this proposed issue of bonds, is within the limit pre- scribed by law; 2'hat this Board of Supervisors finds that out of the proceeds of EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY 'THOUSAND DOLLARS ($880,000.00) of bonds of the Paradise Unified School:..District to be sold, that THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($385,000.00) shall be used for high school purposes and FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($495,000.00) shall be used for elementary school purposes. -4- ,a%ERO ~ XERO CI ~~~. _.~~ _. COPY; COY `%eR0- CUPY n~. 1 2 3 3 4 5 6 7 8 ~ I 9 10 11 i 12 13 14 i5 18 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 2B 27 28 29 30 31 32 IT IS TI~EREE'ORE RESOLVED AND ORDERED that bonds of said Paradise Unified School District, in Butte County, State of California, issue in the aggregate sum of EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($880,000.00) in denominations of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00); that said bonds shall be dated the 1st day of November, 1964, and shall be payable in lawful money of the United States of America, at the office of the county treasurer of said county, as follows, to wit: $5,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1st in each of the years 1965 to 1969, both inclusive; $10,000.00 principal amount. of said bonds shall mature and. be payable on November 1st in each. of the years 1970 to 1974, both inclusive; $20,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1, 1975; $45,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1, 1976; $50,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1st in each of the years 1977 to 1979, both inclusive; $60,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1st in each of the years 1980 to 1981, both. inclusive; $80,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1, 1982; $90,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be payable on November 1st in each of the years 1983 to 1985, both inclusive; " $40,000.00 principal amount of said bonds shall mature and be paya]~le on November 1st in each, of the years 1986 to 1988, both inclusive; . _5_ %EROt ~ ~ ~' %ERO COPY r - JCOPY iF_' ~ _^vl .+' "";tl ~c' 1~! 11 1 that said bonds bear interest at a rate not to exceed five per 2 cent (5%j per annum, payable in like lawful money at the office 3 of said county treasurer in one installment,` for the first year 4 said bonds have to run, on the 1st day of November, 1965, and 5 thereafter semi-annually on the lst days of November and May of g each year until said bonds are paid; 7 Said bonds shall be signed by the chairman of said Board g of Supervisors, and by the treasurer or auditor of said county, g and shall be countersigned, and the seal of said board placed 10 thereon, by the county clerk of said county or the clerk of the 11 Board of Supervisors or by a deputy of either of such officers, 12 and the coupons o£ said bonds shall be signed by said treasurer 13 or auditor. All such signatures and countersignatures may be 14 printed, lithographed, engraved or otherwise mechanically reproduce , 15 except that one of said signatures or countersignatures to said 16 bonds shall be manually affixed. Said seal may be printed, engrave , 17 stamped or otherwise placed in facsimile on said bonds.
