RE5OLUTION ADOPTING COUNTY ROUTE
MARKERS AND REQUESTING A "B" ROUTE N[Ti~ER ASSIGNMENT
WHEREAS, the County 5tspervisors Association of California has adopted
a twelve»point program providing for standard county route markers fox use on
certain county roads; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte and City of Orbville have the following
routes, which meet the requirements;
1, Mont Omer Street Oran e Avenue Oroville Dam Boulevard and
Canyon Drive; beginning at State Highway 70; thence easterly
along Montgomery Street to Orange Avenue; thence easterly along
Orange Avenue to Oroville Dam Boulevard; thence easterly along
Oroville Dam Boulevard and State Access Road to the Construction
Site Overlook and Kelly Ridge Recreation Area of the State
Department of Parks and Recreation, near the Oraville Dam; thence
southerly along Canyon Drive to Olive Highway, which route serves
as a major connection between State Highway 70 at Oxoville and
the Oroville Dam and Kelly Ridge Recreation Area.
2. Oroville Dam Boulevard (I'A$ 1169}__and Olive Highway ~k'A5 759};
beginning at State Highway 70; thence easterly along Oroville Dame,
Boulevard to Olive Highway; thence easterly along Olive Highway
to Canyon Drive, which route serves as a major connection between)
State Highway 70 at Oroville and the Oroville Dam and Ke11y
Ridge Recreation Area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that County of Butte hereby requests
approval and a "B" Route number assignment to the above-listed county roads.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Btitte;
State of California, at the regular meeting thereof on the 6th day of
October 1964 , by the following vote:
AYES.:. Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, Pryde, Steinegger and Chairman McKillop
