BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
ti+iiiEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of the Government Code o.f the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment .of a county service area .within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county .service .area is .proposed to be .established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the boundary .lines of the .territories proposed for
inclusion in the area .are more particularly described_in Exhibit "A"
..attached hereto and made apart hereof by reference as though fully
set forth .verbatim and at length.
2e That the .name proposed for said .county service area is
County Service .Area No. ~~ _.
3. That the types of extended .county services already
provided in this .area is street Lighting..
4, That the types of_extended county services proposed
to be..provided in this area is streetlighting.
5. That a .tax .suf.fici.ent .to ..pay ._f or all such services
which .are .furnished on_.an extended .basis will be annually levied
upon ali taxable property .within such .ar.ea.
6. That .on December.29s..1964., at 11:00 A.M., a public
hearing will .be held on the .establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1964, by the
following vote:

Beginning at the intersection of the northerly right of way line of School
Street and the easterly right of way line of Smullin Street; as said streets are
shown on that certain map entitled "Town of Honcut", recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of Sutte County in Map Book 7, page 85; thence southerly along said
easterly right of way line to the northerly right of way line of Lower Hancut Road;
thence westerly along said northerly right of way line to the westerly right of way
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence southerly along sand railroad line to
the northerly line of Lot No. 1 of the Town of Honcut; thence westerly along said Iot
line to its intersection with. the westerly right of way line of Third Street; thence
northerly along said Third Street line and its prolongation to the northerly right o£
way line of Lower Hancut Road; thence westerly along said northerly right of way line
to the southwest corner o£ Lot No. 37 0£ said town; thence northerly along the west
line o£ said lat and its prolongation to the northerly right of way line o£ said School
Street; thence easterly along said northerly right of way line to its intersection with
the extension southerly of the westerly line of Lots No. 98 and 99 of said town; thence
northerly along said extension and along the westerly line o£ Lots 98, 99 and 111 to a
point 150 feet northerly of the southerly line of said Lot 111; thence easterly at
right angles to said westerly line to the easterly right of way line ~ Palermo-Honcut
Highway; thence southerly along said easterly right of way line to the extension
westerly of the northern line of Lot 81 of said town; thenceieasterly along said ex-
tension and north line to the northeast corner of said Lot 81; thence southerly along
the westerly line o£ said Lot 80 to the northerly right of way line of said School
Street; thence easterly along said northerly right of way line to the beginning.
