BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title. 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
- of-.the Government .Code of the State of California, the Board of
' Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte.
NOW, .THEREFORE,. it is hereby Resolved:
L, That a county service area is proposed to be .established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the boundary .lines of the .territories proposed .for
...inclusion in .the .area.are.more particularly described in Exhibit ''A"
..attached hereto and made a.par.t hereof by reference as .though fully
set forth verbatim and at length,
2e That the .name proposed for said county service .area is

3 That the types of extended county services already
provi-ded in this area is street .lighting,, .
4. That the types of extended .county services..pro.posed

5. That.a .tax_suf.fici.ent to pay..for.all such services
which.are.furnished on an ..extended .basis will be annually levied
upon all taxable property within such .areas

Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 46i of the Town of Richvale as
shown in Map Book 6, Page 53 and recorded in the office of the County Recorder,
Butte County; thence easterly along the easterly extension of the southerly line
of said Lot 461 to the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Rail-
road; thence southeasterly along said westerly railroad right of way line to the
north right of way line of Richvale East Road; thence southerly at right angles
to said north right of way line to the south right of way line of Richvale East
Road; thence westerly along said south right of way line and the south right of
way line of Richvale West Highway to a point 79.69 feet easterly from the west-
erly line of Lot 1 of Richvale Colony No. 1 as shown in Map Book 6, page 92 and
recorded in the office of the said County Recorder; thence south I80 feet; thence
west 495.31 feet; thence south 120 feet; thence west 164.69 feet; thence north
Z20 feet; thence west 282.83 feet; thence south 99.29 feet; thence west 152.72
feet; thence north 99.29 feet; thence west 109.45 feet; thence north 180 feet to
the south right of way line of Richvale West Highway; thence east along said
south right of way line to its intersection with the southerly extension of the
east line of Lot lIl of said town;of Richvale; thence north along said east line
to a point 85 feet south of the north line of Lot IE20 of said town; thence east
through Lots 420, 42I, 422, 423, 424 and 425 of said town to the east right of
way line of Rourth Street; thence south along said east right of way line to
tihe north line of Lot 163 of said town; thence east along said north line and
the north line of Lots 178 and 191 to the beginning.
