BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION 0~' INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, .Part 2, Chapter 3
of-.the Government .Code of the State of Califo.rni.a, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County .have instituted proceedings for the
establishment .of a.county service area within the County of Butte<
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1, That a county-service .area is proposed to be established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the .boundary .lines of the ..territories proposed for
inclusion in the area .are .more .particularly described in Exhibit "A"
..attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as .though fully
set forth verbatim and at lengths
2e That the :name proposed for said county service area is

3, That the types of extended county services already
provided in this .area is street lighting.e
4, That the types of..extended county services proposed
to be..provid.ed in this area is street lghtingo
5. That a tax.suffici.ent to pay ..for all such services
which .are furnished on an extended .basis will be .annually levied
upon .all taxable property within such .areae
6. That on.December.29, .14.64, .at ..11.;..00-A.Me, a public
hearing will be held on the establishment of said areao
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1964, by the

Beginning at the intersection of the westerly right of way line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad and the southerly right of way line of North Vi11a
Avenue; thence easterly along the southerly right of way line of North Villa
Avenue to the centerline of Perkins Avenue; thence southerly along the center-
line o£ Perkins Avenue to the northerly right of way line of Kenilworth Avenue;
thence westerly along the north right of way line of Kenilworth Avenue to
easterly right o£ way line o£ Railroad Avenue; thence southerly along the
easterly right of way line of Railroad Avenue to the northerly right of way line
of William Avenue; thence westerly along the northerly right of way line of
William Avenue 1040 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of Lot 2, Block 96,
Palermo Citrus Tract Subdivision No. 2; thence northerly 720 feet, more or less,
along the westerly line of Lot 2 to the southerly right of way line of Palermo
Road; thence easterly along the southerly right of way line of Palermo Road to
the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad; thence northerly
along tha westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Railroad to the
point of beginning.
