BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of the Government .Code of the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment of a county .service area within the County of Butte<
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county service .area is proposed to be established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of-Butte County; the boundary lines of the .territories proposed far
...inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
,.attached hereto and made apart hereof by reference as though fully
set forth .verbatim and at length.
2a That the ,name proposed for said County service .area is

3, That the types of extended county services already
provided in this .area is street lighting..
4, That the types of-extended county. services.pro.posed
to be..provided in this .area is street li.ghtingo
5. That a tax.suf.fici-ent to pay .for all such .services

upon .all taxable property within su.ch..area.

Beginning at the intersection of the northerly line of Block 1, of the North
Addition to Durham, and the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific Rail-
road; thence southerly along the westerly right of way line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad 3050 feet, more or less, to the southerly line of Lot 21 of the Franklin
Subdivision; thence westerly along said southerly line of Lot 21 to the westerly right
of way line of Midway; thence northerly along the westerly right of way line of Midway
to the northerly line of the Martenette Addition to Durham; thence westerly along the
northerly line of the Martenette Addition and the extension of said northerly line, to
the easterly right of way line of Franklin Avenue; thence southwesterly across Franklin
Avenue 45 feet, more or less, the intersection of the westerly right of way line of
Franklin Avenue and the southerly line of the northerly 20 feet of Lot 2 of the Second
McAnarlin Tract; thence westerly 1S0 feet more or less along said southerly line to the
westerly line of said Lot 2; thence northerly 45.25 feet more or less along the westerly
line of Lot 2 and Lot 1 of said subdivision to the southerly right of way line of
F~,orida Lane; thence northeasterly across Florida Lane to the intersection of the
northerly right of way line of Florida Lane and the centerline of the alley in Block R
of the Town of Durham as shown on said map, filed in Book 1 of Maps, page 59, R ecords
of $utte County,Celifornia; thence northerly along said centerline and its extension
northerly to its interesection with the southerly right of way line of Faber Street;
thence northeasterly across Faber Street, to the intersection of the northerly right
of way line of Faber Street with the easterly line of the alley through Block J of
said Town of Durham; thence northerly along the easterly line of said alley to its in-
tersection with the southerly right of way line of Campbell Street; thence northwesterly
across Campbell Street to the intersection of the northerly right of way line of Campbell
Street with the easterly line of the alley through Block G of said Town of Durham;
thence northerly along the easterly line of said alley to its intersection with the
southerly right of way line of Durham Street; thence northeasterly across Durham Street
to the intersection of the northerly right of way Line of Durham Street with the
easterly line of the alley through Block B of said Town of Durham; thence northerly
along the easterly line of said alley and its extension northerly, 770 feet, more or
less to the northerly line of the said North Addition to Durham; thence easterly along
said northerly line to the point of beginning.
