BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of-.the Government Code of the State of California, .the Bvard of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte.
NOW, .THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county service .area is proposed to be established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the boundary lines of the ..territories proposed .for
...inclusion in the area .are more particularly descri.bed.in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made apart hereof by reference as though fully
set forth .verbatim and at length..
2, That the ,name proposed for said county service area is

3, That the types of extended county .services already
provided, in this .area is street lighting,.
4, That the types of extended county services proposed
to be-provided in this .area is street lighting.
5. Theta .tax.suf.fici-ent to pay_for all such services
which are .furnished .on an extended .basis will be annually levied
upon .all taxable property within such areas
6. That .on .December 29,_1964, at 11:00 A.M., a public
hearing will .be held on the establishment of said areas

the northerly Iine of Skyway; thence southerly across Skyway to the most northerly corner
of thet certain parcel of Iand deeded to Ester M_ Glenn and recorded in Bopk 1045,
Official Records, Page 426; thence S 4y°lOx E along the northerly line of said Ester
M. Glenn parcel 502.44 feet to the northerly line of the Southern pacific Railroad;
thence southwesterly along said railroad to the west line of Section 14, T22N, R3E,
MDB&M; thence north along said west section Iine to the west quarter corner of said
Section 14; thence westerly along the east-west centerline of Section 15, T22N, R3E,
MDB&NI 660.00 feet to the west line of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter
