BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY .SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant.to Title.3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 3
of_the Government Code of .the State of California, th.e Board of
Supervisors of .Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment .of a.county service area within the County of Butte.
NOW, .THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county .service .area is .proposed to be .established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the boundary .lines of the .territories proposed .for
inclusion in the area.are-mare particularly descri.bed.in exhibit "A"
..attached hereto .and made a Bart hereof by reference as though fully
set forth .verbatim and at length.
2. That the ,name proposed for said county service .area is

3, That the types of extend.ed..county services already
provided in this-area is street .lighting..
4. That the types of..extended..county services_propos$d

Beginning at the point of intersection of the southwesterly line of Columbus
Avenue with the northwesterly line of Sacramento Avenue; thence southwesterly and westerly
along said northwesterly line of Sacramento Avenue to the point of intersection of said
northwesterly line of Sacramento Avenue with the northeasterly line of State Highway 32,
foxmally known as Nord Avenue; thence continuing westerly along the prolongation of the
northerly line of Sacramento Avenue to the northwest corner of the intersection of Sac-
ramento Avenue with State Highway 32; thence continuing westerly along said northerly
line of Sacramento Avenue to the point of intersection of the northerly prolongation
of the dividing line between Lots 11 and 8 of the Bidwell Second Subdivision, filed for
record in Book 5, at page 27, Butte County Records; thence sov.th along said dividing
line between Lots ll and 8 to the northeast corner of Lot 20 as shown on that certain
map entitled Oak Lawn Manor Subdivision, which map was filed for record in Book 17, at
page 37, Butte County Reocrds; thence south along the easterly boundary of said Oak
Lawn Manor Subdivision a distance of 1050.00 feet to the northerly line of Bidwell '
Avenue; thence r~xtll 86°001 W along the said northerly line of Bidwell Avenue, a~dis-
tance of 359.48 feet; thence continuing westerly and southwesterly along the said northerly
line of Bidwell Avenue, also called Creek Road to the point of intersection of the north-
westerly line of said Creek Road with the southerly prolongation of'the dividing line
between Lots l3 and 14 of the said Bidwell Second Subdivision; thence north along said
dividing line to the southerly line of the McCulley Block, reoorded in Book 4 of Maps,
at page 23; thence easterly along said southerly boundary of the McCulley Block to the
southeast corner of said McCulley Block; thence northerly along the easterly boundary of
said McCulley Block, said easterly boundary being parallel with and 104.5 feet westerly
of Oak Lawn Avenue, a distance of 660.0 feet to the. northeast corner of the said McCulley "
Block, said corner being on the southerly line of Sacramento Avenue; thence continuing
northerly on the north prolongation of the said easterly boundary of the McCulley Stock
to the northerly line of Sacramento Avenue; thence westerly along tha northerly line of
Sacramento Avenue to the dividing line between Lots 54 and 81 of said Bidwell Second
Subdivision; thence northwesterly along said dividing line between '.Lots 54 and 81 to
the southwest carnet of said Lot 81; thence northeasterly along the dividing line between
Lots 80 and 81 to the southwest line of State Highway 32;; thence southeasterly along
said southwest line of State Highway 32 to the point of intersection of the said south-
west line of State-Highway 32 with the southwesterly prolongation of tlce southeasterly
boundary of the re-subdivision of Lots 5 and 6, Argonaut Block, recorded in Book 16,
at page: l9, Butte County Official Reocrds; thence N 34°081 E along the southwesterly pro- .
longation of said southeasterly boundary of said re-subdivision to the northeasterly •"
line of said State Highway 32,being also the southeasterly corner of Lot 6 of said re-
subdivision; thence continuing N 34°081 E along the said southeasterly boundary of the
re-subdivision, a distance of 238.00 feet to the northeasterly corner of said Lot 6;
thence S 55°521 E,a distance of 227.6 feet to the southeasterly boundary of the Columbia
Block, recorded in Book 6, at page 9, Butte County Official Reocrds; thence N 34°081 E
along said southeasterly boundary of the Columbia Block, being also the northwesterly
boundary. of Lots land 2 of the Argonaut Block, recorded in Book 5, at page 6, Butte
County Official Reocrds, to the said southwesterly line of Columbus Avenue; thence
S 49°571 E along the said southwesterly line of Columbus Avenue to the northwest corner
of the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Sacramento Avenue and the point of beginning.
