BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY .SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title-3, Division 2, .Part 2, .Chapter 3
of the Government Code o.f the State of California.,.th.e Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment .of a.county service area within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county .service .area is.proposed to be established
..under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of .Butte County; the boundary lines of the ..territories proposed for
inclusion in .the area .are .more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
..attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though .fully
set forth verbatim and at length,
2.; That the :name proposed for said county service .area is
County Service ..Area No. ~~
3, That the types of extended county services already
provided in this .area is street .lighting.
4. That the types of..extended.county services.proposad
to be..provided in this .area .is s.treet.liglZting.
S. That a .tax .suf.fi.ci-ent .to .p.ay ..for -all such services
.which.are.furnished on..an.extended.basis will be .annually levied
upon all taxable pxop.erty within such..ar.ea.

hearing will .be .held on the-establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1964, by the

Mulberry Tract
All that portion of that certain subdivision entitled "Mulberry Tract Subdivision,
No. 1", recorded in Map Book 6, page 90 in the Office of the County Recorder of Butte
County, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection o£ the southerly right of way line of Twenty-first
Street and the westerly right of way line of Eim Street; thence southeasterly along said
westerly right of way line to the northerly right of way line of Twenty-third Street;
thence southwesterly along said northerly right of way line to the easterly right of way
line of Fair Street; thence northwesterly along said easterly right of way line to the
southerly right of way line of said Twenty-first Street; thence northeasterly along said
southerly right of way line to the beginning.
