BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ESTABLISH COUNTY SERVICE AREA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Title 3, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter
3 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board of
Supervisors of Butte County have instituted proceedings for the
establishment of a county service area within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby Resolved:
1. That a county service area is proposed to be established
under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area
of Butte County; the boundary lines of the territories proposed for
inclusion in the area are more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference as though fully
set forth verbatim and at length.
2. That the name proposed for said county service area is
County Service Area No.~.
3. That the types of extended county services already
provided in this area is none.
4. That the types of extended county services proposed
to be provided in this area is sewer and disposal facilities.
5. That a tax sufficient to pay for all such services
which are furnished on an extended basis will be annually levied
upon all taxable property within such area.
6. That on December 29, 1964, at 11:00 A.M., a public
hearing will be held on the establishment of said area.

State of California, described as follows:
2 A portion of Sections 2 and 3, Township 21 North, Range 2 East,
3 M.D.B.& M., and mare particularly described as follows:
4 Gommencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 3; thence
5 South 00°24'50" West, 2923.35 feet to a point on the North line of
16 the Chico-Paradise Skyway; thence North 83°14'50" East, 881.80 feet
7 a~.ong the North line of said Skyway to the 'True Point of Beginning
8 for the parcel herein described; thence from said True '~=Point of
9 Beginning, North 06°45'10" West, 335.23 feet; thence North 66°21'
10 20" East, 100.00 feet; thence North 06°45'10" West, 228.12 feet to
11 a point on the top of the rock bluffs forming the South rim of
12 Butte Creek Canyon; thence meandering along the rim of said Butte
13 Creek Canyon, Easterly, the following courses and distances:

of said curve through a central angle of 21°50` an arc length of
746.88 feet; thence South 83°14'50" West, 3140.32 feet along the
ly line of said Skyway to the True Point of Beginning.
