BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION ANiENAING RESOLUTION N0. 625 REGARDING
LEAVE OF ABSENCE
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Section 9.5 of the Personnel
Rules concerning leaves of absence ~,:it?~ _: ,-;
NOW, TfIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of
the County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
That Resolution No, 625 ,, Section 9.5 shall be, and is hereby,
amended to read as follows:
"9.5 LEAVE OF ABSENCE
P. leave of absence for educational, medical or other
reasons with or without pay in excess of 30 days may he authorized by
the Board. A request for a leave of absence shall be suhmitted upon
recommendation by a department head to the personnel director who shall
submit it to the Board. Hn employee shall be entitled Co a leave of
absence only upon good and sufficient reason. Upon returning to active
employment, the employee may be paid at the same step that was in effect
when he began his leave of absence.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 15th day of December, 1964.
